Baptism

When asked how is one born again, the Savior remarked that one must be “born of water and the Holy Spirit.” (Jn 3:5) And to give us a model to pattern, Christ was baptized at the Jordan by John the Baptist. And before He returned to the Father, He implored the Apostles to baptize “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”

At St. Martin de Porres Parish

We baptize anyone under the age of 7, either on the last Saturday of the month privately, or publicly, on the fourth Sunday of the month during Mass (except during Lent and the summer months of July and August). To have your child baptized in any of our parish churches please make an appointment with the parish priests one month prior. Baptism classes are offered on the third Wednesday of the month at the Rectory.
